While I try to think on the next part, I’d like to ask if you have any headcannons regarding Timekeeper Cookie and the male St. Pastry Order cookie!

Any kind of headcannons you may have, I don’t mind. I’m curious about your thoughts on the two so far :)

As annoying and vague as Timekeeper is to you, given enough time, they can and will assist with certain tasks.

After particuarly frustrating or busy days, you'll sometimes find that you'll have a few days to relax... Hm... Wonder who could've made that change...

Timekeeper plays with your frustrations, but does seem to understand somewhat when they take it too far.

They'll never admit it, but they love to listen to your voice, even if it's angry.

Timekeeper will tease and tease and tease, so the moment you tease back, they might buffer a bit.

As much as they make you question your views about your religion, you do feel grateful in having a cookie who can answer your questions (as much as they're more riddles than answers).

Alrighty, Timekeeper x male St. Pastry Order reader part 3:

I think this would be where the reader confronts Reverend Mother Cookie or Doughael (maybe both but you can just choose one if you prefer) about this odd Timekeeper. He wants to tell probably the entire order about Timekeeper since they seem to defy so much of the beliefs that the Order has

Reverend Mother was quite worried about your odd behavior, so she was relieved when you finally came to talk to her... But your words meant that she had to give Doughael as well. You did your best to explain the odd abilities this... Timekeeper Cookie had. That was the best way you could describe them, at least: you never actually got their name. Even as you confessed that this cookie told you to head to Reverend Mother for answers, the two of them both seemed uneasy. After a few beats of silence, Doughael gently stated that it was nothing to worry about; perhaps, if you were lucky enough, the Witches were testing your faith, and you would prove yourself to prevail. Quickly, you assured that if this was some sort of trial, your belief would not falter, but something about their vague answers gave you internal hesitance. After all, as odd and mischievous as this cookie was, they didn't seem like this sort of... demonic cookie that Reverend Mother and Dougheal were painting them to be. With a smile, Reverend Mother sent you back on your way for your regular duties and prayer. Although as you turned, you could've sworn that Doughael was giving you the strangest look... It must've just been your imagination, though.

Timekeeper x male St. Pastry reader PART 4!!

For this I’m thinking that reader would wait until every cookie has left the cathedral so that he would step into a confessional in private. And on the other side is, to his surprise, Timekeeper Cookie.

He takes this opportunity to tell Timekeeper everything from his conversation with Reverend Mother and Doughael and also asks why Timekeeper came to him specifically, instead of other Order members who, in his mind, would be of more interest than him.

(Perhaps maybe Doughael hears the reader in the confessional and wonders who he is talking to 👀)

"So, you've come to confess your sins?" You had nearly jumped up from your seat in the confessional upon hearing that familiar voice. You had figured that you were alone and simply going to talk to the empty place covered up by wood aside of you, but instead, it was their voice. That Cookie that kept trying to pop up into your life and into your beliefs. The cookie giggled at your startlement. "A confessional usually has somebody to listen and forgive, yeah? It's weird to confess to somebody who isn't there. Who will forgive you then?" Hesitantly, you had no choice but to sit back down. What else were you supposed to do? Run like a coward? Run away after wanting to ask so many questions this whole time? No, you couldn't. You didn't want to. Instead, you did open up a bit. You told them that you had told Reverand Mother and Doughael about them. More laughter from the other side. "What, did you think they would save you? No matter how high their beliefs, they can't stop the flow of time like I can." You asked if you needed to be saved. It was an odd choice of words, all things considered. The other gave no answer, simply giggling again. Exasperated, you had to ask why. Why you? Why not toy and push around any of your other brothers and sisters in faith? "Oh, you're so tense! I figured that you would've known why already!" You tried to ask why, but a knock on your confessional nearly gave you a scare. Quickly, you opened it up... Dougheal. They seemed concerned. "Are you alright, fellow believer? It sounded as if you were talking to somebody, but I'm afraid there isn't anybody around to take your confession..." You looked to the wall aside of you. What could you say? How could you answer that? You didn't even have answers for yourself.

TIMEKEEPER X MALE ST. PASTRY READER PART 6‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

After the conversation with Doughael, the reader still feels…unsatisfied, so to speak. Despite everything he has taken in, and even rereading scripture, there is something that still makes everything incomplete and questionable.

That must be it, it’s Timekeeper. Just the existence of Timekeeper begs questions that the Order cannot answer, or at least do so in a complete and acceptable way.

I’m thinking that he’ll go to his chambers and private and ask if Timekeeper is around, ask what secrets of Cookiekind Timekeeper holds, and maybe, just maybe, if Timekeeper can take him to the Witch’s Banquet.

Pastry Cookie was able to go, but not he. And he doubts that his dough would sustain for that long to see another Banquet. But with how this Timekeeper seems to travel through time and space like an afterthought, maybe they can help him.

Maybe at that banquet, by seeing and conversing with the Godly Creators himself, he will have the answers he wants.

After your conversation had finally ended with Doughael, you retreated back into your quarters, dissatisfied with all of the spiel that they had given you. They were once your guardian, somebody you could look up to as a mentor and teacher, but the longer you sought answers, the further you now felt from them. Instead, you just wanted more answers. You wanted answers about your faith. About the Banquet you had been forbidden to go to. About the Witches and your creators and what everything was all about. So, as much as you felt as if you were biting into the forbidden fruit, you called out for Timekeeper. And they answered your call. Timekeeper appeared on your bed, a knowing smile on their face as they sat criss-cross to face you. A part of you felt regret in summoning them, seeing how smug they appeared, but they knew more than they let on. If Reverant Mother or Doughael wasn't going to give you a satisfactory truth, truly, they must. What other choice did you have, after all?

IT. IS. FINALLY. TIME‼️‼️‼️ After a lot of thinking and drowning in college, I am here to ask for—

TIMEKEEPER X MALE ST. PASTRY READER PART 8

Safe to say that the reader was in over his head. In fact that’s probably an understatement. All the insight he had on what the Witches Banquet was like is what Pastry Cookie had told him about; which was enough to lead him down this rabbit hole of questioning his faith and what was it he was truly doing. After all, if Pastry Cookie’s words were true, then the thought of indoctrinating young cookies for such a…disturbing fate turned his dough the wrong way. Surely that can’t be the salvation and deliverance promised for cookies, right?

But now…he doesn’t know where to go from here. He may not exactly be at square 1, but with how many questions he still has, it doesn’t seem like he’s made much progress.

He still knows next to nothing about Timekeeper, and their riddles aren’t much help for him in understanding more about Timekeeper, and worse, a more complete and truthful answer to Cookiekind’s origins and purpose.

And it’s not like Doughael or Reverend Mother have complete responses either, it feels like there’s so little he can do...

Maybe he can talk with Seltzer and Menthol Cookie about everything? Sharing Timekeeper to them may be difficult, but surely it must be better than his last attempt at sharing Timekeeper to other cookies, right?

He can only trust the two of them don’t rat him out to Doughael or Reverend Mother, or anyone else in the Order…

After Timekeeper gave you rejection to your idea, you've been trying to figure out other things about the banquet on your own, doing your best to keep such information away from Doughael and Reverend Mother... It all feels so tricky, and the best answers you can get, since Timekeeper is no help, is older records of what Pastry had witnessed. You had almost forgotten about them, with how little it had been talked about before. Still, it gave you an uneasy feeling in your dough... If Pastry's testimony in these records were true, what did that mean about your belief? About the beliefs of everyone in the St. Pastry Order? This was going to be the best you could get, unless you manage to decrypt and solve whatever stories Timekeeper gives you, since they refuse to give you any sort of straight answer... Or unless you find other companions to tell what you've been going through. Seltzer and Menthol were the first Cookies to come to mind, but could they be trusted with the cards that you've been dealt?

TIMEKEEPER X MALE ST. PASTRY READER PART 9‼️‼️‼️

In an effort to keep himself going crazy, reader decides to share his thoughts with cookies he can trust. He doesn’t know if Timekeeper would be eavesdropping—oh who is he kidding, they absolutely would somehow— at least with these two cookies he won’t run into more questions and problems like with Doughael.

He tells Seltzer Cookie and Menthol Cookie everything that happened and all the thoughts he gathered so far. He begs them to keep this all to themselves, not sharing even a tiny bit of it with any other cookie in The Order. He even takes them to his chambers to discuss further and share what little theories he had; although said theories he weren’t too sure of since, well Timekeeper riddles.

All he asks is that they don’t think he’s crazy and keep an open mind. With the coming of The Avatar approaching soon, he doesn’t want a mass hysteria before such an important event, for better or worse.

As you spoke and did your best to explain yourself, Menthol was the first to ask you where you had gotten all of this from. Even Seltzer seemed curious, albiet also concerned... You couldn't blame them, you would've been concerned too, had it been anybody else going through this. All you could do was for them not to say a word about any of what you were saying, and not see you as another Cookie that has gone mad. You're doing your very best to figure all of this out, you just have to tell some Cookie about this! Seltzer immediately made the promise for the both of them, much to Menthol's chagrin, but it was clear that your intentions were not malicious or morally ill. With a sigh, Menthol reluctantly agreed to help you solve some of these riddles from this... "Timekeeper" Cookie, with Seltzer by his side. He was a bit in doubt, however, he admitted as much to you. Such a name he's never heard of... Still, he'll keep his mouth shut and try and help whatever mysteries you're trying to solve.

Timekeeper x male! Reader who’s from the St. Pastry Order? Maybe he’s been struggling with his faith and just so happened to get caught up meeting them by chance?

During your prayer, time seemed to slow itself... You thought it was because of your own thoughts, but seeing your fellow brethren be frozen made you realize that it was very much real. Clattering up to your feet, you demanded to know what trickery was behind all of this... and then, floating above, you saw them. Their smile was wide, their eyes beady as they looked down at you with curious inspection. After a moment, the strange Cookie seemed to... praise you. They claimed that they were fascinated by how resolute you were to your faith, but even more fascinated by how much time you've foolishly sunk "into a bunch of nothings." You growled at them that the Saint Pastry Order was more than just nothings, but their words scratched under your dough more than you would like to admit. Before you could demand any more answers, the time Cookie said that at another time, they would return... And with the ticking of a clock, they disappeared. You yelled out, but the only answers you got were the whispers of your brothers and sisters around you. Time was back and steady with the absence of that... oddity. And despite time resuming, why did it feel that part of you... was still so frozen in place?

Alriiiiiiighty let’s do it; Timekeeper x Male St. Pastry Reader PART 5‼️

Following up where we ended, I’m thinking that Y/N hesitantly confesses to Doughael about how lately his faith in the order has been waning. And while he may think that he is being tested by the Witches, especially with the meeting of him and Timekeeper, he feels that there is more going on than he realizes, perhaps more to the truth about Cookiekind than the Order knows.

He doesn’t tell the High Forkbearer that he was talking with Timekeeper in the confessional just then, that could lead to unwanted trouble. He just hopes that Doughael isn’t too nosy and that Timekeeper isn’t caught..

You didn't know how exactly it would go, but since Dougheal asked if there was something you would like to confess (you were previously in a confessional booth, after all), you admitted that you did... and you told Dougheal about the struggle of your faith. You didn't tell them about Timekeeper being in the booth, of course, and something told you by the look on your High Forkbearer's face that it would only add more fuel to the fire. You said that you didn't want to lose your faith... It was just hard not to question it at times. To ask "Why?" was starting to become easier and easier, rather than nodding along. Dougheal's expression, both sympathetic and disappointed, made you start to backtrack a little. These feelings could all just be another trial, of course, a test that you'd have to overcome! It was simply a nagging feeling, annoying and pestering, that's all! Despite your efforts, though, you knew that you were in for a long, spiritual conversation.
