having a shitty day but then while watching pataal lok i remembered I read a spoiler somewhere that ansari is gay HES A GAY MUSLIM IPS OFFICER IN DELHI and got soo happy. Like OFCOURSE I liked you from the beginning YOU WERE DOOMED BY THE NARRATIVE MY GUY. He's done the classic saving his boyfriends number with an initial and everyone thinks he has a girlfriend and jaideep alhawat's character was funmad at him for not telling aaaaaaaa I love gay characters in awful hetero places and then they have awkward coming out moments where the tough guy accepts them and I cry?????

I was watching Kohrra season 2. I enjoyed very much the first one. Apart from the fact that the series is really well done, it's also a form of social commentary about toxic masculinity, gender abuse, and sexual orientation discrimination. But all of a sudden I hear this agitating noise: "Israel." They made the nationality of some tourists who were in a meditation retreat Israeli, and they repeated themselves again and again. It's so fucking annoying to have this free Israeli propaganda thrust into my throat every time. Someone on Reddit said that Himachali is full of Israeli tourists, so it's logical to have them mentioned. Even if I buy this excuse, then let's show how unruly, unkind, patronizing, and violent they are to the locals everywhere they go.
The talented Jaideep Alhawat has delivered significant performances throughout his career, from his debut movie Khatta Meetha alongside the supremely talented Akshaya Kumar to his recently released Jewel Thief movie. his career is full of magnificent movies. If we observe his in Career, it is filled with movies belonging to different genres like drama, comedy, and various genres, in which he has proved himself every time as an actor. The actor has been working in the field for more than a decade. in a recent interview given to Lallantop, he talked about every aspect of his struggle, like his early days, college life, and his entry into the glamour world and including his upcoming movie King with SRK. So here presents a must-watch content featuring Jaideep Ahlawat
1 An Action Hero - This Anirudh Iyer film straddles the genres of action and thrill as it follows the journey of a film star, Maanav ( Ayushmann Khurrana ), who flees after being accused of murder, with Bhoora Solanki ( Jaideep Ahlawat ) – the politician sibling of the brother – hot on his heels. Ahlawat brought his trademark mix of striking presence, grit, and dark humor to the role of the ruthless politician, serving as an indirect nod to the impact of media sensationalism. Despite a lukewarm commercial run, the film was appreciated for its fast pace, crisp screenplay, and acting. Ahlawat received a Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actor for this performance.
2 Three Of Us -A poignant drama directed by Avinash Arun, Three Of Us follows Shailaja ( Shefali Shah ), who is diagnosed with dementia and revisits her childhood town in coastal Konkan with her husband Dipankar ( Swanand Kirkire ). Pradip Kamat ( Jaideep Ahlawat ), a childhood friend, becomes a key figure in her journey of nostalgia and self-discovery. Ahlawat delivered a restrained yet deeply affecting performance as the bank employee who still carries a torch for his childhood crush, and received nearly as many plaudits as Shefali Shah, who had the author-backed role in the film and received a Critics Best Actress trophy at the 69th Filmfare Awards. Ahlawat, too, received a Critics' Best Actor nomination for this performance.
3 Jaane Jaan - Adapted from Keigo Higashino 's novel The Devotion of Suspect X, this Sujoy Ghosh film follows a single mother, Maya ( Kareena Kapoor ), who commits a crime and receives unexpected help from her reclusive neighbor Naren Vyas ( Jaideep Ahlawat ). He truly shines in the role of a clever mathematician, entirely focused on his devotion and intelligence, stands out despite of presence of powerful actors like Vijay Verma and Kareena Kapoor Khan, his scenes with Vijay Verma enhance the combination of thrill and tension in the story, and add an element of psychological thrill in the movie
I want to talk about one of the best things I have seen on TV - Pataal Lok; Available on Amazon Prime. I honestly don't know if I am qualified enough to review this brilliant piece of work. I can't help but write something about this master piece, though. THIS is what streaming platforms were made for.
On the surface, Patal Lok is a crime thriller. A mediocre police officer is given charge of the investigation of an assassination attempt of a prominent journalist. The investigation takes the officer to the underbelly. Nothing new, right? WRONG. Patal Lok is so much more.

It is a commentary on our society. It talks about the three distinct strata in the society, the 'Swarg Lok' or the Upper echelon, 'Dharti Lok' or the middle-class and 'Patal Lok' or the people that the residents of the other 'Loks' like to pretend don't exist. The series explores the failings of humans as a whole. The rot in morality. the prejudices we must fight, the society where a human's life has no value, the state of modern journalism. the hubris, apathy and depravity of humans. And that kindness can be found where you least expect it. Running through it all, tying it together, are references to Hindu Mythology. This is a tightly woven story that haunts you long after its done.
Jaideep Ahlawat plays Hathiram Chaudhury with an unmatched brilliance. He is meek and brazen. Kind and ruthless. A man who has lived his life in violence and yet, one who can love truly. Jaideep captures the complex and detailed character with such ease that leaves the viewers speechless. Take a bow, man.
Niraj Kabi flawlessly plays Sanjeev Mehra, the journalist who was at the center of the assassination attempt. At the start of the story, he is a man who is the victim. The disillusioned journalist who realizes how apathetic they can get in pursuit of a story. He is at the same time both appalled and resigned to the state of affairs. But when the time comes to revive his sinking career, he chooses the easy way out, succumbing to the same trappings that he had decried. He conveys the shock and the gleam of greed through his eyes.
Abhishek Bannerjee plays Vishal Tyagi otherwise known as 'Hathoda' Tyagi. The assassin that kills with a hammer. He barely speaks. Yet, his long silences and dead stares, will send a shiver down your spine. Yet, in this monster of a man, you see a shred of humanity when you least expect it. I can't wait to see more of this actor.
Ishwak Singh plays Imran Ansari. The intelligent, educated, hard-working young sub-inspector who is on his way to bigger and better things. Yet, in the Hindu-majority police station, he is the second-class citizen and he is reminded of it every day. His stoic, expressionless visage portrays the pain of micro-aggression much better than lengthy dialogues would. In places he reminded me of Rajkumar Rao from Shahid. And I mean that as a huge compliment.
In this male dominated world, three women make their presence felt. Niharika Dutt as Sara Matthews, a journalist who works with Sanjeev Mehra. Swastika Mukherjee as Dolly, Sanjeev's long-suffering wife. And Gul Panang as Renu, Hathiram's wife. Even in the limited scenes, they managed to leave a lasting impact. The review (praise) would not be complete without the mention of Mairembam Singh who plays Cheeni. I won't say much because spoilers, but the vulnerability that this actor brings just elevates the show to a whole new level. In closing, this is not a show for the faint hearted. But if you're not squeamish and want to watch something special, watch this. Even with subtitles, this show is worth your time.
