Well, here is the solution for my leftover patches! I had to hand-sew them, wow, that hurt my hands so much. The patches had to be placed slightly off-center to look good when worn (they are puffy sleeves). I'm pretty happy with the end result, but the weather is already too cold here for a jacket like this. Next year I will wear it!
