i think it would be kinda cute if patchmare was in charge of making the cloaks/hats for the other mares...

like he probably wasn't the one who initially had the idea of posing as frogs (cuz it seems like it's been a thing pretty much as long as marisa's been around, since as a child frogueslick pictured himself growing up still wearing a hat)

but. i think it'd be neat if he had a family member or just a mentor figure that taught him how to be a little crafty and help out the folks in his nest (since it was probably pretty unsafe to leave the backstage without "playing along" with the game)
