OOOHHHH- Libi and John have been on my mind for a while now, what've we started-
This is kinda short and John is probably ooc but I tried úwù

The library was empty...perfect for fooling around apparently.
"Give me back my book, you theif!" Libi chased the pristine man around, her hair-ties slowly becoming undone. By the time she finally caught up to him and cornered him against a wall, her hair was completely down and she was out of breath. Meanwhile, John seemed perfectly fine.
"Wow, you must love this book, eh? But tell me..." His face drew near Libi's. "Do you love it as much as you love me?"
"...Huh? W-What're you talking about, you know I like Stef-" "Pfft-" The man started to laugh at the girl's red face. "There you go being adorable again." Libi went from flustered to annoyed really quick. "How dare you! To make me think that you loved me when you don't - Unthinkable!"
"Who said I didn't love you?" He said it so nonchalantly that it was almost scary. "...What...?" Libi was struck with a feeling that both made her extemely euphoric yet also brought her down heavily.
"Don't act coy. You know that I love you, you just refuse to accept it and instead chase after him."
John set the book in a random spot on the bookshelf before bringing his hands to Libi's cheeks. "Deep down you know you love me. You're just scared to accept it." His forehead was against hers. Libi's heart wanted this. It wanted more than this. It wanted him to hold her close, to kiss her until her lips turned blue, to comfort her on bad days, to sleep with him at night and wake up to his face in the morning...She wanted him. However, her brain was saying otherwise.
Just as John and Libi were about to indulge in the sweet moment-to-be...she pulled away.
"John...I can't. I'm so sorry, but I just can't."
Libi walked out, not bothering to pick up her things. She couldn't accept it, not yet. She had to at least tell Stefano how she felt before accepting she truly loves someone else. John stood there not knowing what to do in the coming days where they would have to interact. He was still figuring out his feelings for her just a month or two ago, now he could barely think about her without the idea of being her significant other...and she walked out on him.
They both wished they could turn back time and make different choices to prevent this mess.
