notes:

the way eva saw the traitor perk math puzzle as being "for her", the temptation of eden's garden, and the way wolfgang might have seen the killing game as a whole - "for him." the class trial setup, how to get away with murder. for a lawyer as seasoned as him, it should be child's play. he knows how to defend people in court, he can defend himself, he can locate any potential killers easy. wolfgang had his pawns, he was in the middle of setting everything up, he was confident. maybe he wasn't prepared to kill, not yet anyways, but he was definitely thinking about its eventuality. a means to an end.

i like the idea of wolfgang being more preoccupied with learning how to kill, as if there is a correct way to do it, rather than the act of it. he's trying hard to detach himself from the emotional act of killing. in this game, he must see it as simply a tool, the way his classmates are simply pawns in a game. even if he has to kill someone today, he knows keenly that he can get away with it - he's the ultimate lawyer, after all. he can win. he has to win.

in addition: regarding the theory that wolfgang's dad killed his mom -> leading to wolfgang seeing murder as absolutely unforgiveable, his emotions running haywire and volatile at simply the idea of cruel, senseless murder... -> to his blackmail, "like father, like son / beneath a sheep's skin hides a wolfish mind." all foreshadowing that he's inadvertently following in his father's footsteps... that no matter what, his fate will befall him......

the first few thoughts are in text boxes before things start to dissolve, once he starts to contemplate murder, once things start going 'awry' for him. getting into the mindset of the worst-case scenario: i have to murder someone.

when he becomes drugged, the engine room becomes white and misty, close to the white-space pocket universe that you see in my other wolfgang(+eva) comics... he's close to death...
