I've been away for a bit-

I'm going to be moving in a month, which was totally and completely unexpected. I didn't think this would be happening. So in order to gear up for moving I've been away.

Don't worry it's a good move it's not like I'm getting evicted. It's just unexpected good news.

I'll still be responding to everyone but my timing may be stretched due to the busy news! So sorry! I'm sure everyone will be fine with waiting.

I don’t know why anyone would really care buuuut… okay.

1. I’m a cosplayer and that’s an all consuming thing about me.

2. I own my own business.

3. I’ve been happily married for nearly 6 years now.

4. Some of you rp with the person I’m married to.

5. My real (legal) name is Raven so every time I see a Raven(Damuron) rper, I stumble a little over the post.

6.This is my favorite hue of Blue.

7. I like all Tales of games but Symphonia is, by far, my favorite. I feel like it was the most thought-out, fleshed-out and rounded story the tales company has produced; which is why, imo, they made the sequel.  I’m not as fond of Dawn of a New World but I appreciate the fact that they really took into account the realities of the game’s world and what would realistically happen 2 years after the first game.

8. My favorite TOV pairings are FlynnxYuri with a side of RavenxYuri.

9. I’ve moved just about every 2 years of my life because I come from a long line of nomads and I dislike staying in one place for too long. This means I’ve lived in a variety of cities, states and countries.

10. I have an unexplainable burning need to travel the world. Lately I’ve been dreaming of seeing the grand bazaar in Istanbul and the hub of downtown Tokyo -two things on my bucket list.

It all started with the cold. Early spring still meant early nightfall and early nightfall meant it just got stupidly cold sooner rather than later. Hating the cold and having lists upon lists of reasons to be anywhere but in his apartment (it was colder inside than outside -don't ask how that was possible), Yuri found himself starring at the the window of the tavern. He had found a small amount of cash tucked under a floorboard in his room (read:the ghetto safe) and was in the mood to spend it on food and drink. Question was: how much food and drink could he get for what little cash he had? And that's when eyes the color of a storm fell heavily upon the old man sitting in the corner window spot. Well. Wasn't he a site for sore eyes? Quickly throwing open the heavy door, Yuri skirted about half empty tables before ceremoniously plopping himself in the seat adjacent from Raven without so much as a hello. In fact, he wasn't even really facing him as much as he was facing the bar across the room where the waitress was busing herself with nothing in particular. Yuri flagged her down and once he had her attention and shouted his order, he turned to face his old companion. Because Yuri had priorities. "Hey."

Morning had passed in a half conscious blur and afternoon came with a vengeance. It was late spring in Zaphias which mean the mornings were crisp, the afternoons were uncomfortably warm (boarding hot as the season tipped its hat to the oncoming summer melt) and the nights were flu-inducingly cold. All of this, for the most part, explained that heavy weight in Yuri's chest which kept pushing out a cough every couple of yards. He hated being sick nearly as much as smug royals flaunting their unnecessaries. Problem is, smacking a cold in its craplousey face was a bit more challenging than doing the same to another pompous they-were-asking-for-it type. Not that he was in the mood for brawling with anyone. After all, he just finished washing all the mud out of his hair from yesterday's excursions and wasn't in a hurry to repeat any of it. And with all of this clouding his mind and distracting his typical focus, Yuri didn't even see the man he simply walked right into. Obviously, today was going to be another fantastic day.

Now there was a face he hadn't seen in sometime. The fame fatal of the fortune's market was certainly a sight for sore eyes. A pleasing site for very sore eyes.

"Hey." Casual and polite was the best policy when dealing with fiery redheads, headstrong individuals and tough-as-nails guild masters. Or, in Mary Kaufman's case, all three. "Haven't seen you in a while."

Before and After

Flynn had been busy with errands all day, busy with errands and a bad mood- a bad mood because he hadn't slept. Due to last night- a night for all purposes and intents, never happened. At least that's what the sleepless tossing and turning had implied. Yes the whole night was subject to selective amnesia- spoke his pride.
