I love nova sm and I adore when you draw them all creepy UGh nova my beloved

do you think we’ll ever see them with their “real form” (idk if thats what it’d be called) in any games?

This is their real form! While it's true pathospires have minor shape-shifting abilities, they do naturally appear humanoid when they mature.

Do pathospires have Emphaty?

Because when Jik-Jak calls Nova a 2nd time in the game and Nova mentions Miss B. Being depressed, both of them seem to not care. So, is this a trait Nova got from Jik-Jak (making him be a possible psychopath?) or is it a normal thing for pathospires?

It's not that pathospires lack empathy (they can certainly feel it for other pathospires), but rather that pathospires generally don't view non-pathospires as people.

To pathospires, non-pathospires are a food source and they treat them as such. Even if a pathospire is being friendly or kind to a non-pathospire, it's usually with the intent to eat their heart later on. Even if a pathospire feels fondly to a non-pathospire, they probably view them more as a pet than a person.

The reason Nova likes Twyla so much for example is because they stopped seeing her as food and started seeing her as a person!

How are pathospires born?

When Pathospires die, do they turn into ghosts, too?

i imagine so! they're living, after all

What do pathospires do when someone asks what animal they are?

pathospires don't come with any animal features so most people just assume theyre human. And if they are asked they'd likely just respond by saying they're human since they cant transform into an animal

Do baby pathospires bite you?

no they don't have mouths

I'm pushing it a little too much. I'm just nitpicking at this point, but isn't her skin a clear giveaway? Or do they just brush it off as a skin condition? Again, I fell in love with your work, played everything in one day (apart from cemetery Mary wich took me several.

I assume you're talking about Nova?

In Noisrev it's common for people to have dark skin markings, and these markings can appear anywhere on the skin. Pathospires are very prone to having markings, but they're far from the only species with them.

In Nova's case, their whole body sans their face being covered would be seen as a skin mutation (especially considering other pathospires don't have markings like that either)

And!! And. Pathospires are not common knowledge. Very few people know they actually exist.
