This is probably gonna be unpopular, but Weecest is something I avoid. Not all of it, but most of it. And I don’t even think it’s the age thing; I think it’s the fact that all Weecest fics (unless they’re AU) have either sad or emotionally ambiguous endings, because Sam always leaves for Stanford no matter what (even if the fic doesn’t address it), so the love story always feels tragic instead of hopeful. And I have to have a guaranteed HEA for me to read something, bc I’m a baby.

ooooooooh god i feel that so hard. it’s always  looming in the background like you KNOW no matter how happy they are in the moment it’s like a grey cloud moving in. a very specific (and relatable) kind of chae i think. sometimes that’s what i’m in the mood for, though (especially because WE KNOW they reunite, too... which leaves the door open for all that delicious late seasons getting back together like THAT ONE FIC YOU WROTE *ahem* which is A++) <3

well it seems like i’m going to talk about this with tears in my eyes too because can you imagine how sweet and how pure and how desperate those boys would be with each other?

they both had feelings for each other, ya know, since forever. it wasn’t always sexual. but there was something there. they cared for each other more than what siblings should really care for and it only seemed natural for them. and they always came back to each other, after everything that they’ve been through, the ups and downs, they’ve always come back to each other.

however, they tried to be normal. whatever normal really meant. when they had the chance to get out of the life, they tried but it never really seemed to work. they were always pulled back in, pulled back together.

i don’t know what season it would be. maybe it would be after sam tried to complete the trials and dean nearly lost sam. or maybe it happened after dean was cured from being a demon. or maybe it was after that episode “red meat” when dean nearly lost sam once again but there was something that made those boys snap and fall in on each other.

dean grabbed sam’s head, held him tight against his body and kissed him, pouring every ounce of love and desperation that he had in his body and sam kissed him back just as hard.

and neither brother cared and the thought that they’re brothers and they shouldn't be doing this didn’t cross their minds because they were always more than brothers.

somewhere in the back of sam’s mind the word “soulmate” danced around and he was sure that if there was something such as soulmates then dean was most definitely his.

and dean didn’t care. the way he saw it, what would happen if he decided to love his brother like this? they were already living on the fray of society, people mistook them for a couple all the time. he’s already been the hell. he’s died and come back. he’s been to heaven. he’s walked with demons and been friends with angels and he had absolutely nothing to lose.

dean doesn’t ever cry, not really but when he pulls away from sam, completely breathless, he’s got tears running down his face and sam is crying too and they can’t help it.

after everything they’ve been through, after all the apocalypses and the end of the world and everything else, they’ve still got each other.

Love for Mark: for anyone who hasn't been to a con, he does his Crowley shtick in his panels (he's snarky, almost rude, abrasive, but it's all in good fun!). My first con, he was being 'Crowley' to a teen girl asking him a question, but he walks the room during his panels so he couldn't tell she was shaking&crying. Once he realized, he RAN over to her&gave her a huge hug, apologized&gave her his undivided attn, then gave her a genuine answer&I'll never forget that. he has a <3 of gold!

Love this, Linds! Would love to see him doing the Crowley shtick in person. Thanks for sharing!
