  Instinctively his body grows tense, reverie startled by the sensation of a warm body pressing against his own. There are only two suspects, one of whom Blade knows is off with a recently purchased video game in her hand. Silver Wolf is about as fond of physical contact as the swordsman himself is. 

  There was never a chance it’d be her. 

  ❝ What is it you’re after this time, Kafka? ❞  He questions, his voice noticeably strained as he focuses on gradually relaxing ( albeit reluctantly ) into her embrace.       ❝ Silver Wolf too busy to entertain you? Did she tell you she’d feed you to a bird if you were a worm again? ❞

  The sheer audacity of this man is astounding! The nerve he’s emboldened by to wink at her after staking his claim to victory in their game again! It baffles her, unable to determine just how he’s won so many games against her. Fu Xuan cannot stand it, yet her headstrong pride refuses to forfeit or stand down. She will beat him eventually!

  Cheeks puff indignantly as she turns away with a haughty ‘ hmph! ’, arms folding across her chest. She pointedly ignores the warmth flooding her skin.     ❝ You cheat, and I will find out how. ❞
