Finally finished a huge painting I started over a year ago! “Jarrod” Oil paints on a 24 inch diameter canvas.
Turned out completely different to what I imagined and planned, but that’s what happens when you’re trying to fix mistakes that have already dried!
The theme to this week is 'insult to injury.' Monday: my grandmother who I'm very close with had a stroke. It doesn't look good. Monday afternoon I receive an unfriendly letter from a formerly very friendly person. Tuesday: I fall down a long flight of icy stairs. Wednesday morning: I realize I lost my car keys on the way down, looked everywhere. I think they're in the river. Fuck.
