Just so you're aware when sending in asks for the Shipping Meme and any such memes I post in the future. I have other OC ships but I'm not ready to share them yet so these are the ones I'm willing to focus on. :)

Let’s do both twins, because I haven’t the heart to separate them.

Names: Davina and Darius Kaiba.

Genders: Female and male respectively.

General Appearance: Providence is black, but raised in Ireland (okay I know that’s weird but that’s my canonverse headcanon for her so don’t judge me), so her children are brown-skinned, though they’re considerably lighter than she is. Darius inherited his father’s eyes, but otherwise the two are identical. (The Blueshipping versions are the same except they’re fair and both have blue eyes…could I get away with that or should I make them Different characters? I don’t want to confuse or upset anyone…)

Personalities: Davina is outspoken and demanding, and stubborn to a fault. She’s also very clever and has outsmarted her father more than once. She likes to do things just to mess with him at times. Darius, by contrast, is respectful and generally good-natured (not that Davina isn’t, but she likes to stir the pot when she feels things are getting boring). He reminds his father a lot of Mokuba, so naturally it’s easier for him to get his own way with Seto. Davina has to go to her mother or her uncle(s if the verse allows Noa to still exist) if she really wants something.

Special Talents: Both twins were taught how to play Duel Monsters, but only Darius was ever interested enough to keep it up (don’t ask about his deck. I’m very bad at deck-building and have no idea what it consists of right now). Davina has an interest in music, and Providence talked Seto into paying for harp lessons, which she accelled at. Both twins are very intelligent—Darius is particularly good at mathematics, while Davina picks up languages very quickly.

Who they like better: Davina likes her mama better, since Vida allows her children to get away with more—though she will discipline them if she deems it necessary and doesn’t let them do anything really wrong. She has morals and teaches them to her kids. Darius doesn’t play favourites, respecting both parents equally.

Who they take after more: Honestly, Davina reminds Vida more of her twin sister Radiance than either Seto or herself, and since that particular sister did not approve of her interest in Kaiba at all, he is inclined to agree. Darius is more like Vida than Seto, though he is as shrewd as his father when it counts.

Personal Headcanons:

Davina has a circle of close female friends that includes Alana Rainer (Alister’s daughter), Abigail Pegasus (adopted in Canonverse, Rose-baby in Magina because I brought Cecilia back in that universe), Freya von Schroeder and Lindsey Wheeler. (Also her cousin Jacinta, again if Noa is alive to father her.) They chat online nearly every night and those whose fathers disapprove of the friendship secretly enjoy winding them up. When she’s sixteen, she acts on a long-time crush she never told Lindsey about and starts dating Matt Wheeler. News gets back to Kaiba, however, and he grounds her for two months in a fit of temper. She manages to escape the house several times to see Matt anyways, mostly because Roland (and possibly Thomas if Kohaku will let me borrow him for canonverse fics) thinks Seto over-reacted a little. Kaiba catches her coming back the fourth time, but Mokuba and Providence manage to talk him round, and he lifts the grounding reluctantly and allows her to continue dating Matt, who annoys his own father by being extremely respectful to Kaiba.

Darius tends to play along with his sister’s schemes, mostly because she knows exactly what to say to get him to agree to help her. This pays off when he starts dating Alana. When Alister finds out about their relationship in the worst way possible (her younger brother caught them kissing and ran to tell his dad in all innocence) and they have a huge argument that culminates in Alana storming out of the house in a rage, It’s Davina who talks her parents into letting Alana stay with them for a while to cool off. When things have settled down and both fathers have grudgingly accepted their childrens’ choices, it’s Davina who distracts her father during visits so that her twin and Alana can slip away. Darius’s politeness eventually gets him into Alister’s good graces, though he and Kaiba never really geta long even after their families are joined by marriage.

So human Kisara has her own card that I only just found out was an actual thing: Maiden With Eyes of Blue.

And now that I know it's real, I want to give it to Providence.

Why not Kaiba, you ask? Well, that's partly due to how she obtains it. When she and Kaiba get married, Kisara shows up in spirit and basically tells Providence to take care of him, kisses her forehead as if giving her blessing, then disappears. A moment later, Vida finds the Maiden card up her sleeve and accepts it as a wedding present. Seto is slightly miffed that he doesn't have it but Vida reasons that since they're married now, there's nothing stopping them from sharing, although she insists on keeping the card in her own deck. This is also the perfect excuse to encourage them to tag-duel with each other.

And now I'm imagining Seto and Vida facing off against Joey and Mai in possibly the most epic tag-duel in the history of Magina. If I write that, the chapter is so being called "Polar Vs. Patience!" xD

Vaseshipping or Trustshipping?

Vaseshipping because of the added cute factor. A lot of ships come ahead of Trust for me, it seems. That might have something to do with Patienceshipping, though. :D

My brain has decided it wants to throw ideas for canon AU with Providence and Saffron at me.

Saffron and Providence both being interns at Kaiba Corp. (partly inspired by a conversation with Kohaku)

Saffron and Providence both believing the Pharaoh and Bakura are real from the start (whether or not they have magic themselves is still up in the air).

Saffron being skilled in several marshal arts and being assigned to protect Mokuba. She's in the room with him when Rishid comes to kidnap him on Marik's orders and Marik has to use the Rod on her and make her come with them just to keep her from drawing attention because she's fighting them all the way. (This is how the connection is forged between them because, strong-willed as she is, she's too shocked to shake off the Rod's power when she first experiences it). (Can the Rod be used on someone long-distance or will this scenario have to be recalibrated?)

Saffron having a crush on 'Namu' before she finds out who he really is.

Saffron remaining behind during the Virtual World arc (because I couldn't come up with a purpose for her being there like she was in the dream) and helping Ishizu protect Rishid while at the same time getting to know Marik better while she's sharing her mind with him. (Her will's strong enough for her to be aware of her uninvited guest and she insists on a similar arrangement to the one Yugi has with the Pharaoh.)

Providence in the cyberworld with Seto and Mokuba, learning about their past with Gozaburo.

Providence finishing Seto's duel against Noa and winning with cards that haven't been made official yet, but which she has designed herself and were so prominent in her mind that she could use them in that world.

Providence deciding to take Noa with her when she leaves the cyberworld and their two minds sharing her body until she can arrange more suitable accommodations for him. (I might just have Kohaku's help if I write this and get to this part because she has some pretty interesting ideas involving Noa. :D)

Noa teasing Providence mercilessly while he's sharing her mind due to her crush on Seto. (Noa: Seto and Vida sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g... Providence: Stop that! Noa: Bet the Pharaoh does it to Yugi. *pan to Yami doing just that with Yugi in regards to Téa*)

Providence electing to watch Alister after he lost his duel during the Orichalcos arc, especially after Seto and Yami leave for the temple, because she knows that if he wakes up, that means everyone, including Seto, is all right.
