According to medical sources, Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) presents with motor and sensory abnormalities in the lower extremities. According to patient sources, the symptoms of CMT can be quite broad. Depending on the underlying mutation, the person might experience problems with sight or hearing, facial tics or spasms, vocal cord or diaphraghm paralysis, UE weakness, GI problems, bladder malfunction, pudendal nerve involvement, muscle/joint pain, neuropathic pain, temperature dysregulation or Raynaud's in the extremeties, and fatigue.
