Collect all 25! Almost a year has passed since the release of “Solo: A Star Wars Story” and I finally managed to gather all the remaining missing figures. Becket was the last and Quay Tolsite was the hardest to get. I was lucky with L3, Val, and Rio. It was also tough and sheer luck to find the trooper pack with the Patrol and Mud Troopers and the Millennium Falcon Han was a purchase at one trusty merchant in the Far East without whom I wouldn’t have been able to get almost one fifth of these figures for a reasonable price. Talking about reasonable prices: no I didn’t pay a reasonable price for Quay Tolsite. But was it worth the trouble? I think so. I figure this set of figures will be one of the rarest collections of modern figures for a recent Star Wars movie—and unfortunately also one that not many are, were, or will be interested in much. Did I mention that I love the Solo movie? Yes I think it’s too unfortunate that it got treated so badly by the audience and wasn’t very well received. One of the reasons why they toyline was so underrepresented. To me it certainly was the best Star Wars movie in recent times. See where I’m going with this? . My big plans for my next project was going to be building a life-size, rideable Patrol Trooper Speeder for parades and conventions. . I was hoping to use the prize money from that one cosplay contest to fund this project, but that unfortunately didn’t pan out. .
