The problem is that s1 was TOO good lol. It gave us expectations and it made us know what this show can be like if it wanted to be at the top of its game and not lazy Disney channel stuff... Alas. But yeah his and Raven's dynamic was PERFECT

it kills me bc!! like!! they have ALL the pieces to make a great show/episode!! it’s 100% the writers fault for not caring and trying to be hacks about it. the comedy is still great. the kids have improved leaps and bounds since s1 days (tess specially ran past the Scrappy Heap(tm) and never looked back). the psychic premise is unique and rich AND they have the entire TSR mythos/lore to work with- but then they just ...dñsfkdlñskf it. ‘lazy’ is exactly the right word for it.
