Several nooks and crannies of Penn State University are said to be haunted: the Schwab Auditorium, Watts Hall, and, yes, Pattee Library. Students have reported seeing the red glow of what appears to be a set of eyes, transparent ghost girls bookmarking a few favorites, and book carts moving without someone to push them. The creepiest folklore, however, lies in truth: In 1969, grad student Betsy Aardsma was stabbed to death while studying at the library over Thanksgiving break. As the legend goes: She was wearing a crimson-colored dress, and every night students can hear her screams from the basement below and even glimpse her red orb.

Beam signing party!

This is what it looks like in the construction zone for the last phase of Libraries 2020, the massive, student centered project meant to give PSU students a home in the Libraries. :)

Donors, staff, and students came in to sign the beams. The beams will be covered and the signings preserved like a time capsule for future generations to find when construction happens again to serve the needs of future students. :D

The photo on the top right is the monolith of a library I work in. Pictured is only one third of the building! The ducks are back and the new generation of ducklings have hatched! :)

Here’s my entry for take your fandom to work day!

I love so many different things! So I decided to narrow it down to my two favorite video games. 

So here I have Phaedra from Shadow of the Colossus laying down and Alice Elliot from Shadow Hearts grabbing a book in the Franklin Atrium in my Library!  :)

My library will be officially opening a Maker Commons with several 3D printers today!

So what’s the first thing I do? Start making Pokemon and Undertale stuff to print. So academic...
