An introduction to the brand and history behind it.

Understanding brand and their origins helps to identify the different pathways industries take. In this day and age, everyone has taken a shot at 'lifestyle' brands but few ever succeed. RVCA has been a major player in this industry due to it's foundation and roots. Starting the company to help fuel the Artist Network and using it as a platform to help showcase artist, atheletes, and other talents. Sometimes they undertake risky ventures. The incredible investment in MMA and training facilities was definitely a risk but partnering with companies like VIRUS early-on made them a stand-out from others. RVCA roots and message continue to make it a successful brand, reminding all others to take notice and stay genuine. I'm tired of people pumping these lifestyle brands in front of your face. RVCA isn't necessarily a lifestyle brand as it is it's own culture. A culture that welcomes others and helps support like-minded talent. Keep at it.
