Pattern imprinted concrete, or PIC, has been in the UK for about 25 years. It has been proven to be long-lasting, hard-wearing, it won't sink, it's weed-free and, virtually, maintenance free. If looked after it will not fade and will repel oil and and anything else that would cause unsightly stains on flags, tarmac or block paving.

In brief, we remove your existing driveway, dig down 8 inches, then put in 4 inches of hard core, exactly what is used on the roads. The concrete comes next: "air entrained", frost resistant and fibre re-enforced. This is then coloured and patterned on the same day. It is left for two days to harden completely, then it is washed off, left to dry and sealed.
