With New Year Goals still set fresh on your mind and at the top of the list (at least I still hope), let the Frida Cholas help you with a motivational tip that will set you in action once your done reading this. TT#2 will show you 5 ways to detox your body and it will cost you nada.
#1 DRINK WATER
That’s it! Plain and simple. Replace that sugary drink for water and you are one step closer to detoxing and cleansing your body. Water is life, and if you want to bring life back into your body, then drink it. Better yet drink it 8 times a day, and if you throw in a fresh squeezed limon in it, then even better. A fresh squeezed lemon in your water can aide with digestion, which can help with the flow of removing waste.
#2 Exercise
I know, I know…right about now you are probably like... Oh hell no I’m not joining a gym! But exercising is not always done in a paid facility. Turn on your radio and dance, move around to the beat, throw in a few squats, jumps, and kicks and you just burned at least 100 calories. Go for a walk after a meal instead of eating desert. Clean your house. Or my favorite… sexercise, yes sex can aid with detoxing your body.
#3 Eat clean
Eating clean means not eating garbage or junk food. Easy!!! Fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grain, and beans. Nothing to it, it’s cheap, easy to find, and nutrient dense. Eating clean=detoxing.
#4 Cut the sugar
Did you know that cancer loves sugar? That it thrives and propagates with sugar. Don’t cut the sugar from fruits and vegetables, that’s the good stuff. Cut the sugar from foods with no nutritional value like: cookies, cake, chips, candy bars, high fructose drinks, all of these and others I did not add on the list, but your subconscious mind thought of, are filled with empty calories. Remove these from your diet and you are already detoxing.
#5 Breathe
Take a deep breath right now! What you are feeling is the sensation of oxygen flowing through you. Deep breathing super charges your lymphatic system and this leads to detoxifying your body. We breathe every day, moment, second, and instant of our lives but we under utilize our God given tool to naturally detox our bodies. Take a few minutes throughout the day to focus on deep breathing and disconnect from your environment, breath in positive energy and breath out negative. Detox baby!!!
