I´m a good person
Insatiable review
Recently I decided to watch the controversial NETFIX series insatiable. First I would like to talk about the controversy surrounding this show, the main controversy around this is that it would inspire eating disorders however, I strongly disagree with this as the main point of the show is to show that even though Patty is now considert to be more attractive that doesn’t mean she is a good person the show amplifies many times that if you’re a bad person you will always be ugly.
Next I want to talk about the main characters, starting with Patty Bladel I personally find that Patty is a very problematic and unlikable character. She constantly wants revenge and doesn’t care who’s life she ruins in the process. Throughout the show she constantly does bad things but she almost never has to face the consequences witch annoys me to no end, she ruins Bob’s marriage twice and is forgiven every time. That brings me to the second main character Bob Armstrong even tough he is arguably more likeable than Patty he still has plenty of moments that make you wish he gets in trouble. He cheats on his wife two times of witch one time with his former nemesis Bob Barnard and after both times his wife Coralee comes back to him anyway. But you do feel for him at the time where he’s struggling to accept his bisexuality and Patty outs him to the whole town.
Overall even though it had unlikeable characters I couldn’t stop watching and don’t think it deserved the all of the controversy it got.
I wrote this for school and I had a word limit so it’s not totally complete but I wanted to post it anyway
