Can a vegetarian diet save the world? It's unfortunate when the media haphazardly conveys a hype, instead of genuinely looking into the matter. Large amounts of inputs are necessary to produce conventionally farmed crops. Admittedly, it is better to eat these produce directly, instead of feeding them to the animals of a heavily poluting industry, such as cattle farms. But whoever said cattle should eat corn in the first place? All viable ecosystems have both animal and plant life to stay ballanced. Such structures can be reproduced on big scale farms too, creating closed circles, where matter is never wasted. Thus, it's ignorant to consider only half of a healthy system the solution. . . . posted on Instagram - http://bit.ly/2EKP6uL
