22, 24, and 33!
22. What is your favourite course style?
Definitely the kind where its a mixture of lecture and personal engagement/research, and especially where the professor challenges you and let's you challenge them back instead of taking things at face value.
24. Best book you’ve had to read for a course?
My prof's, No Shame For The Sun. Its abt the lives of Pakistani women who go into professional fields, and all the ways they do not fit narrow ideas of Muslim women. Pls read it i love it and her.
33. The best advice anyone has ever given you about university?
Uhhhhh good question, my brain is cooked. Probably just that if I devote myself to it 100% without rounding out the other aspects of my life like socializing and having hobbies, ill burn out and die. Oh, and never buy textbooks from the uni bookstore. Fuck capitalism.
I miss you Pat!
chai and lavender!
Hello my love! Thank you so much for the asks
Lavender is answered here
Chai: What language would you love to learn?
I don't know if it counts but I really want to learn Portuguese. I'm currently self-studying it, but it's going really slowly, and I want to be able to study it in a paced course so that I can learn all the grammar and stop mixing it up with Spanish. It means a lot to me that I learn it.

Awwww baby I love you so much, thank you 😊💕 this flower is in my most frequently used emojis, which I think fits, hehe.
blossom and pebbles :)
sorry this took so long bb!! thank you so much for asking~
blossom; favorite book/movie/song?
book: this is so hard, but The Picture of Dorian Gray
movie: Arrival
song: currently, Electricity by Dua Lipa
pebbles; how do you spend free time by yourself?
this makes me wish I could spend some time by myself right now... the closest I have at this moment is blogging on this computer and hoping no one barges through the breakfast nook again.
I love to draw/bullet journal/paint (artistic), write prose/poetry, or more likely, just read or listen to music! Whatever lets me be expressive and introspective.
☕️ can i ask about multiple topics? if not, choose one: minimalism / studyblr community / language learning / and my question is i have a driver's license but i'm nervous about driving on my own what could i do adjfkladjflj
you can absolutely!
minimalism: I once read that it was something only the upper class/rich could do well and it really stuck with me. I was raised in a middle class/struggling to stay above the poverty line family and we save everything. It’s not heavy hoarding, but you do tend to see collections of stuff that tend to be expensive (pens, gift wrap, etc.) We reuse and repurpose a lot. We can’t just own one of something and buy another when it’s done--the money’s not guaranteed to be there. So you bet every single free pen I’ve ever gotten is somewhere in my house... hence why sometimes I have to force us to let go of certain stocks/reserves and donate them. but I don’t have a crisp, clean, white lifestyle or house.
tl;dr: it’s aesthetically pleasing but as a lifestyle I just can’t do it.
studyblr community: honestly, I’m having trouble picturing my life without you guys. You really shaped my senior year of high school and my first year of college, and I don’t know where I’d be without some of the skills I’ve learned here or the friends I’ve made (including u bb).
language learning: kre f;f ;lf fiadj ;asdn fkj babe you know me! I’m addicted! I’m in love with the myriad of ways we can express ourselves and the way language shapes our world views. Learning a language is a portal into a different mindset and I feel blessed when a culture welcomes me to just learn like a lil educational sponge.
And I’m assuming that Thai driving laws are different than in the US? I don’t know anything specific, but here we have a graduated license program where you first HAVE to be in a vehicle with someone until the required period is up and you pass both online and in-person tests. When I first drove alone I was very nervous, but my family lives in a rural/small town area so I didn’t have to battle city streets alone. Not gonna lie, I was taught by my mom, so for the first few weeks every time I did something, I heard her voice as if she were still in the passenger seat. “Easy on that turn,” “there you go!” “don’t forget the blinker,” “check your mirrors! look behind you!” It really helped me.
I hope that helps bb!!
for god/ess ask: imma leave you apple cake/apple pie idk what it actually is but i had one when i was in the u.s. and it good imma share haha
I'm crying because I make the best damn apple pie I've ever had and I'm so glad you had that in the US and associate it with me
