First stop. Day1/5 Located east of Chilliwack, Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park is a scenic day-use area. The landscape encompassing the park is characterized by low elevation valleys and lush, rounded mountains. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, hiking, and viewing the spectacular Bridal Veil Falls, which tumbles 60 metres over a smooth rock face, creating a “veil-like” effect. #PauCanGrad2019 Day155/365 (at Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/ByZhc7olSjXQas5rPx9SWFKlcrqZoDRfs3VEdk0/?igshid=syzrw6pxnyu1
Laurie messaged me to go on CBC to watch this... Im amazed. And its just so wonderful how they came together to relive the past and the lessons that came with it. I enjoyed the singing and hearing the stories of the people. 🥰 "But I know we'll meet again some sunny day..." - this is me right now singing to my#IIWCC classmates and faculty. 😊 #PauCanGrad2019 Day154/365 https://www.instagram.com/p/ByVE_p2lBDL_OCWjfapFzr66EFGieTEHDb1K7M0/?igshid=m444h8nsnejf
So Laura Lee, Patt and I drove downtown to go to the "journal club reading". It was held at a resto somewhere downtown and it was sponsored by Coloplast. The "club" was axtually an informal gathering of woundcare interprofessionals who talked about wounds. So they had nurses from the community and the hospital, doctors-Infectious disease and ortho, and chiropodists from all over Canada who attended. Sheena, Dr Cheung, Gloria, Laura Goodman and a whole couple of others that looked familiar to me were there. The group was more or less over 20 people. They started with a product presentation by Coloplast followed by a short case presentation by a doctor from infectious disease. Then the sharing of the 2 journal readings. It was quite fascinating to watch interprofessionals with different backgrounds talking amongst themselves to find a solution or a more practical approach for patient-centered problems. On another note, the food and wine here were alright. I ended up eating some carbs- risotto, pizza and arancini because I just thought they were too good to miss and I was really hungry. After the event, Laura Lee drove us back to the office then Patt drove me back to the hotel. It had been a splendid day and by the time I reached my room. I think I was drunk and dozed right off. 😅 #paucangrad2019 Day140/365 (at Cibo Wine Bar King St West) https://www.instagram.com/p/BxzTuouFRNhdTswJLl2smA5uouBQAV351iKNQI0/?igshid=1bfwuhrmegecr
