Sometimes I think about Paul, if he is, at the very least, a closeted bi — losing John, growing older, losing Linda, remarrying and then divorcing, all while society changes around him. Watching famous people like Barry Manilow, Elton John, and George Michael come out and live publicly with their partners, eventually marrying them and even starting families together. I can’t imagine how much it must sting to witness that wonderful shift and yet never be able to experience it yourself....

The same song from George's 1990 Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1, which came out long before he came out publicly and is definitely Not a Straight Song about about yearning for a male lover?
The same song that George wrote inspired by Paul and in Paul's style, intentionally?
And that their voices are so beautiful I'm not always sure who's singing?

just so you know, sometime around recording Ram, Paul didn't feel so bad anymore. He got over it, you see. He didn't feel so. He drove till day break, and then he wrote a song about it and didn't release it till 2012.

the thing is i can’t just throw on Get Back or casually listen to Now and Then. it’s like… a whole ritual. i need emotional prep, a good reason (read: fic research), and then inevitably i end up crying while my brain fills with the sound of 10,000 buzzing bees.
