So the Class of 1924 Oak Cliff High School had a full page ad from Titches-Goettinger Company. The brand was growing !

The original business was in the Wilson Building in Downtown Dallas. The retailers Max Goettinger and Edward Titche built a merchants empire. The construction of the Titches-Goettinger between Main and Elm Streets at St. Paul opened in 1928.

In 2025 - you can reside at the Flagship Titches-Goettinger location in a loft style apartment. Living in a piece of Dallas history among columns and Art Deco style!

Legend of the West - the good ole Texas Rattlesnake! - here are a few of them to be on the lookout for - and Welcome to Texas!

Western Diamondback - Statewide but not in the Eastern most part of Texas.

Timber Rattlesnake - An Eastern Texas resident in the wetlands and woods.

Mottled Rock Rattlesnake - Out in the West Texas rocks and mountains - vacation warning! They are pinkish and not as long as the other rattlesnakes in Texas.

Banded Rock Rattlesnake: A greenish-gray color and much like the mottled rock rattlesnake. Lucky for most - this snake is in the Western most tip of Texas.

Blacktail Rattlesnake - That distinct dark rattler pattern down it's back - it is up to 3 1/2 feet or more long. You can find them near rocks and bushes in West Texas.

Mojave Rattlesnake: A look alike of the Western Diamondback Rattlesnake - but smaller and thinner. Lucky for most - again it lives in extreme West Texas.

Prairie Rattlesnake - These guys are around in the grassy plains of Texas . Mostly in the mid-west of Texas.

Western massasauga - Find these in the Central Texas area around wet and swampy grassy areas. Yes - watch out!

Desert massasauga - This fellow is around Texas in the Panhandle are and at home in the Rio Grande Valley.
