I have a question!! I skipped so many scenes of Ranvir and Priyanka that I have no idea what is going on with them. Can you tell me what their story was from the beginning???

Ok, so this is going to be long and incoherent as fuck, but only because their damn story is written that way. I tried to make it less so, but… *shrugs*

Ranveer first makes an entry investigating Shivaay as a suspect for the Gayatri murder. Soon, it’s apparent that he has an interest in Prinku (breaking her fast on Karwa Chauth.) He then switches his focus to Omkara, implying he knows a dark secret Om is hiding and wants to arrest him for it. It’s soon revealed that Ranveer’s sister was the victim of a hit-and-run accident, and Omkara was responsible (the guilt of which led him to drug addiction, until Shivaay intervened and sent him to rehab to clean up - this happened pre-show, and is referred to by multiple characters verbally). Ranveer anonymously sends Omkara and Prinku a lot of threatening “gifts”, and knowing Prinku is the weak link among the two, starts stalking her. He also sends Om a photo of a baby + guilt trips him into believing that he left the baby motherless. This leads Om to spiral into drug addiction once more, and almost die of overdosing multiple times. 

Prinku, unable to take seeing Om like this anymore, reveals to Ranveer that SHE was the one driving that night, not Om, and that Om had wanted to stay on the scene and get the girl help, but couldn’t find her (body). Ranveer reveals that his sister is alive, but in a vegetative state. He tells Prinku that he intends to marry her and torture all her life for revenge. Then there’s a lot of stupid fuckery in between where he continues stalking + threatening her, but saves her from a rape attempt on a college trip she takes, but “only because *I* want to be the one to cause you pain.” 

Prinku returns from the college trip, and Shivaay says that Ranveer has sent over a rishta and he intends to say yes, much to everyone’s surprise. Then enter Ranveer + Kamini (as his mom, but actually his maasi), and a whole lotta drama goes down, including Daksh’s return (Daksh is supposed to be Kamini’s brother, but… I highly doubt it.) Shivaay keeps tolerating all the crap and gets them engaged, because he’s the only one who knows that Prinku is… pregnant. (HALLELUJAH. A VIRGIN BIRTH ONCE AGAIN! PRINKU IS THE VESSEL TO OUR MESSIAH!) In the end, it’s revealed that Ranveer was just drugging Prinku to simulate the symptoms of pregnancy, and he and Kamini were behind the whole Shivaay doppelganger thing. The engagement is broken. 

Ranveer then re-enters Prinku’s life (on Kamini’s instructions) asking for a second chance, but Prinku seems to stay strong and rebuff him. This leads him to jump off a building to “win her back”. It works, because Prinku is dumb as fucccccccccck.  And now they’re married, thanks to Pinky and Kamini teaming up. Oh, also we’re now supposed to believe that Ranveer seems to have grown a conscience/heart out of the blue because he half-heartedly protested to Kamini about how Prinku “isn’t an ATM card.” No, she isn’t. Because an ATM card actually has some purpose in life, and Priyanka Singh Oberoi absolutely does not. She’s a waste of even fictional oxygen. 

All I wanna know is, does that fucking sister who got run over exist or no? Did my son Omkara develop drug addiction and almost die multiple times OVER SOME FUCKERY THAT WASN’T EVEN REAL??????????????

I'm so over this Pinky bs. But I've been thinking-the show is completing 1 year by the end of the month. Would they really do anything to mess up such a monumental mark point in the history of the show? And Shivaay KNOWS his wife. He can tell something's off. Hell, even JHANVI can tell something's up. But what it looks like is gonna happen is Anika and Tia are gonna "expose Omkara as the illegitimate one" because as far as Tia knew, she thought Omkara was the illegitimate one. What do you think?

Tbh, same. I detesttttt this sort of saas bahu garbage, and to have it invade my show like this makes me feel like my sacred space has been violated. 

I was thinking Anika/Tia’s plan was to prove that Om was the najaayaz one as well, but idk, now I’m thinking it’s not? Coz Anika seems to have made up her mind to leave, and Tia is kinda trying to talk her out of it but resigned to accept Anika’s decision… I don’t know WHAT their plan is, and how Tia figures into all of it anymore. 

Yep, Shivaay can tell that Anika is acting suspicious. But unfortunately, he is also a tellywood male lead - lacking logical reasoning and rational thinking in the moments it matters the most. He’s already a hothead who is prone to exploding with the least bit of provocation; now that Anika is actually on a mission to push his buttons (and she fully knows what exactly will set him off), pretty sure that he’s going to go thermonuclear in his blind rage.
