"Princess Peach!" (Yes, that sure is her, Pauline.)
"Hi, welcome!" The Mayor says, her arms open wide as she struts out the door of New Donk City Hall and towards the Princess.
In a way, Mayor Pauline's relieved - her recent push for even more festivals in the city has been a success so far, with grand celebrations of different occasions giving a big boost to people's morale and the tourism bureau. But she may have gotten a bit overzealous. Pauline tends to keep a heavy hand on everything that goes on, and didn't think ahead enough when it came to today's festival's components.
So, she's incredibly thankful that Princess Peach accepted her invite, because that means she can ask for her advice regarding the "Princess" themed festival. She smiles warmly at Peach, face in shadow courtesy of her hat.
