Max Adventure's expedition mechanic Paul Marsh talks you through just some of the things that had to be done to our two Nissan Patrol 4x4 vehicles in order to take on the world's coldest extreme roads in far-eastern Siberia. Driving in -60C Siberia requires some serious modifications to keep a vehicle running and the occupants alive in such extreme conditions. Any component failure that in other parts of the world would simply be considered an inconvenience, could easily become life threatening in this environment where frostbite can strike within just a few minutes.
