Recently I've had a bit more free time to dive into meditation and gratitude. Not only has it been excellent for clearing my mind but I have carried the practice into my surfing. Upon paddling out, I go to the peak and wait. Everyone looks at me like I'm crazy for sitting so far out. I breathe in and out slowly for 30, counting each breath. During the 30 breaths I count my blessings, give thanks to God and give thanks to Mother Nature for providing me with everything I need. It never fails that a rogue set comes directly to me during or after this practice. It doesn't matter how many times, it happens every time. Yes. I sit out there and count to 30 over and over again. 💞 I came across this wax while bumping into @kassiasurf in Mexico. Kassia's Palo Santo wax is infused with properties from the Palo Santo Tree which is burned in ceremonies by shaman and medicine people for its cleansing and healing properties. The scent is very calming and different from any wax I've ever tried and I have found that it stays sticky way longer than the brands I've previously used. Aside from it's performance, I have to say getting the scent while focusing on my breath has been very pleasing. To top it off... the box has "PAUSE. CENTER. RESET." written on it. ✨ I recommend this zen wax, from my toes to your toes. 🔮 Oh. And it's better for the planet. ✌🏼🌎💕 #gratitude #seeyouinsaladita #loglove #meditation #palosanto #pausecenterreset
