👁Pavanegeno👁(2022)

One of my oldest OC's, The Bird Catcher Pavanegeno, now in hypercoulor in my new style. I'll be real this piece has been a bit of a drag to make, after the sketch and inking phase i tried out some more couloring(Segue: click the READ MORE to see 3 original Pavanegeno sketches and 3 process pics-- or just see these three alts of the one above).

The recent (nsfw) Lunlaine pic I drew after this one actually does what I wanted to do with this technique a lot better. Overall though I'm actually pretty happy with this one after I stopped thinking of it as a sunk cost fallacy type deal lol. Anyway check out the rest below plz <3

Top Row is the Sketchbook process for this, i feel like the pencil stage really had something, and I liked the very thick outlines I was going with, when it got to Couloring I was less enthused though I feel... I'm still figuring it out in the full process I've been refining.(I have some extra pics of more in between stages too).

Bottom Row is the previous drawings I had on hand of Pavanegeno. First one is from 2019, the other two are from 2020/2021? i think? idk. its weird seeing the latest in comparison don't you think. My art's grown a lot since then :>

Went through an old sketchbook and did some sloppy redraws of OC ideas + Gwip I found in it. The page started with a Pavanegeno which I decided to finish. I tried doing a Greek hunter style wear for his cloak. Clothing my characters is a pain.
