Pavo Wicked Sample
This @pavotextiles Wicked sample is visiting from a lovely friend halfway across the country...and I’m seriously contemplating cutting off all ties and keeping it. Except she has a couple of my wraps. Bad plan.
I’m a black warp fan through and through and this is among my tops. We’ve worn it every day since it arrived and it’s rocked in every carry we’ve tried. Wicked is floppy and moldable, dry, breathable, and the passes lock into place pretty darn well. Medium weight, but feels lighter. It’s not velcro grippy, so you can still easily adjust, but holds a half knot perfectly. It’s good on the shoulders, but not cushy per say. Aesthetically it’s gorgeous--edgy but classic, and the triweave just fascinates because its colors...and it’s a “neat” weave--precise and organized. Because it’s a smaller, tighter weave, it’s not pull prone which is a bonus. My 20 pounder was easy to carry on a nice long walk, and just around the house, and even at the garden center. It’s really too bad that there are only four of these kicking around because it’s a wicked kickass wrap!
