MEREDITH COTES: What does family mean to you?
While it would be easy for Nico to sit and dwell on the crueller potential of family, Nico likes to believe that the Vixens are actually closer to the family he’d always wanted. It’s so easy to feel safe around them and like nothing can really go wrong. It’s something that he wants to hang onto for as long as possible.

Arlo: Jealousy is not part of Octavia’s usual moods. She loves her life and everything that has happened in it. If there’s anything she would want it would be how people are able to trust their Captains. Octavia wants people to trust her, but it feels like they’re only able to trust her halfway. Why not 100? She’s got no clue. She thinks she’s awesomesauce.
Bianca: Nope. She’s a firm believer that lies are there for a reason. Whether they’re big lies, little white lies, the casual throwaway lies. Octavia has lied and been lied to, but that’s just a given. Of course there’s gonna be a consequence, but there’s a consequence to telling the truth too.

I suppose it changes by whatever circumstances you find yourself in, but overall I think it’s important to find the people you fit in with based on who you are.
