The lead demon stopped moving and the weight on him lifted instantly Paxton grinning as innocently as ever. "Actually not exactly what I meant Cas. I was actually gonna compliment you on how quickly they went after me and the fact that they didn't outright attack. You can't blame these guys for doing their job, can ya? Then I was being an asshole, I don't doubt he'd like to hit me but he's not."
The leader, Joshua, quickly scrambled to his feet, falling into line behind Kira. He glanced from one demon to the other, purposefully avoiding looking at the Prince. Kira turned to look at him and he straightened. “Go to the castle and tell the next patrol to go, then wait for us in the great hall.”
He nodded and left, casting a final glare over his shoulder at Paxton’s words, the other lower demons following him.
Castiel watched before looking back over to Paxton. “Still. They should know better not to attack you. Even if you weren’t an active ally of Dean’s, you’re not attacking us right now. And you’re my creator of sorts. It’s rude.”
Kira rolled her eyes, slowly backing down the jungle path and motioning for the others to follow. “Come on, grumpy pants, lets move this show along. We can talk at the great hall, while we work out the trade and see if we can make an alliance of sorts.”
