So, our Pay it Forward Evacuees Love Camp at the Calvary Church on Highway 68 is still open and running amazingly smoothly with the help of the ENTIRE community (you guys absolutely ROCK!) and we will post a list of specific needs and updates daily. Please keep an eye out, your help is needed and deeply appreciated. The Mid Coast Fire Brigade is all set for now and in need of nothing beside donations directly to them, which you can do at www.midcoastfirebrigade.org I, Gabrie...la, am leaving as we speak to an all female rally in which I'll race for the mid coast fire brigade. It had been booked for months and I was about to cancel my participation because of the fire and all my obligations here with the evacuees and the brigade, but the amazing Chanterria McGilbra, founder of the Prancing a ponies Charity Rally, agreed to pay it forward and make a donation to the mid coast Brigade, allowing me to race for them, so I am keeping my word and both attending and sponsoring the event. I did cook up a little storm before leaving, and Carlos will be in charge of delivering it over the next 3 days while I'm away, and, along with what I left ready, the one and only Tony Baker also agreed to step in and cover for me (our chef community here ROCKS let me tell you), so I leave knowing our brigade and our amazing families in our PIF evacuees love Camp are all fed and amazingly taken care of by the two biggest pay it forward Angels on the Planet, the uncomparables Elsa Rivera and Dee Armstead, and that our page here counts with my two biggest right arm Angels on the Planet, Clove Garavani and Alessandra Bachetta. I confess part of me feels guilty of leaving, but Carlos pushed me out the door and said I NEED to go. I'll be back Sunday and, until then, please take care of my Elsita, Deezita, Carlito and above all, these families whom I am in LOVE with and our brigade. Be safe everyone and don't forget to stay tuned on this page as we will post the daily camp needs twice a day. Mwuah!
