PoV: you are walking through a cute, small town and you turn right after the castle - suddenly in front of you there is a giant hole. In the middle of the city center. This is Pazinska jama (Pazin Cave). You can zipline or go spelunking in the hugeass cave (I intend to, the next time I find myself in Pazin).

One winter's day in 2020 I found myself in Pazin, Istra. I remembered seeing a music video years ago - this music video - which was filmed by a beautiful waterfall near Pazin, so I decided to visit that waterfall. The name of the song - Dolina mlinova (Valley of the Watermills) - is actually the name of the hiking trail that connects two waterfalls on the Pazinčica river - Zarečki krov (left) and Pazinski krov (right). So thank you to the band Veja and that video, otherwise it probably wouldn't have occurred to me to visit Pazin.
