Role: Protection God Focused on Women, Birthing Mothers, Children and Protecting Against Spirits of Disease (Commonly mistaken for an apotropaic demon), King of the Lilû, Rival of Lamastu, Wind God
Offerings: Meats, Red Wine, Any Meal Prepared by Hand, Blood, Work Chosen by Him, Bones, Baneful Herbs, High Quality Metals and Jewelry
Incense: Frankincense, Myrrh
Metals: Silver, Gold, Copper
Candles: Black
Colors: Black but Red and Silver Might be Acceptable
Ways to set up an altar: A statue is required. Either place in a window facing out or set up with black candles elsewhere in your home. You could include symbols that represent fertility, a black scrying mirror, and offerings. Either wash the mouth of the statue or anoint with blood, doing both would be ideal.
