I really hope Kingsley has some sense next chapter. MC has been legitimately busy planning the gala. If you aren't romancing Ian/Ina, it makes sense that MC has been too busy to talk about their "relationship". The forced student/professor plotline is beyond ridiculous if you've made it clear that MC isn't interested in Kingsley. For an app called Choices, it sure doesn't feel like the relationship is by choice.
