The fact that they only mentioned Zoeys outfit and not her personality or what we could expect from her in book 2 and that she wasn't none of the writers favorite REALLY says alot like I'm honestly worried because Zoey is my LI and I really hope they don't push her to the side for Poppy and Ian/Ina like they did in book 1

so during book one i made a playlist for ina x mc (from ina’s perspective) which some of you may remember and i’ve just recently updated it so it fits with their relationship in book two a little more; it would mean a lot if you could give it a wee listen/like because i am rather proud of it <3

ok, get ready for a long rant, because I'm PISSED. @playchoices

I liked Queen B a lot, it was fun and had great and had fantastic one-liners (the "Eat my ass" one was amazing), but the treatment of Zoey wasn't acceptable. She was one of the first LIs we could get romance points with, and yet we didn't get a diamond scene with her until Chapter Nine, and that wasn't even a REAL diamond scene. It was a piece of dialogue that we got if we bought the dress.

The "actual" diamond scenes we got with Zoe were in Chapter 10, after the whole Benji Situation, Chapter 15, when we could hook up with her, and... no wait, that's it. Two diamond scenes.

Guess who also got two diamond scenes? POPPY. The same person who made fun of our MC getting harassed, made fun of Zoe, and so. much. more. She got two diamond scenes, both hookups, or three if you count the Catfight in chapter 16.

Oh, and let's also talk about dear Ian/Ina. I went back onto the Wiki and counted the amount of Diamond scenes we could get with them. Guess how many? FOURTEEN. Only three chapters didn't have a diamond scene with them, and most of the time you could still talk to them and earn Romance Points. The Professor has been one of the most forced LIs in Choices History, but I won't focus on them.

You promised that you would focus more on WLW players, but from looking at the latest books you've published, it clearly hasn't been true. I mean yikes, look at Ava! We literally didn't even know if she was a Love Interest until Chapter 36!

Open Heart still only has one female Love Interest (although I will say that I'm really happy that it isn't genderlocked, you have been treating MLM SO badly that it's a discussion that has to be done some day soon). I won't talk about Royal Heir because it is an old series, but yeah, only one female Li there too. The rest of the books right now are VIP, which I can't speak about because I don't have it.

Am I saying it isn't hard to write stories that makes everyone happy? Oh no, absolutely not. I write a lot myself, and I can tell you. What I can tell you isn't hard, is listening to the LGBT+ players asking for screentime for their LI, or people begging you not to treat the POC love interest so badly.

My point is, I'm happy Queen B gets another book, but you have to stop treating WLW (and MLM) players like you're doing right now, and step up your game. But who am I kidding? You probably haven't even read this. I will be surprised if anyone has. But yeah. Here's my rant. Stop treating us like shit.

With her constantly on his mind, there was no such thing as a quiet, relaxing evening.

Ian Kingsley could be at his house, in his living room, no one in his house but him, some nice calming music on and still his subconscious would scream in disgust at him that he wasn’t with her, but the more, common sense side of his brain knew staying away was the best thing.

Since the day they had met, Charity Middleton had been a pain in his ass, as much as he wanted her lips on his. She was delicious, she took over every part of his mind, even though he knew it was wrong but somehow it didn’t matter. He may have the quiet evening eating at home but the thoughts in his head were more deafening than a concert at a massive arena, the stress of wanting her but needing to protect her caused a headache in itself.

He wanted her, but he wanted to protect her. But sometimes, he wished he could have her but protect her. She was his student and he was her professor. Hell, it was wrong but the feeling of wanting to hold her in his arms was overwhelming in the worse way….

He sipped his scotch, wanting to tune out these deafening thoughts, but no matter how much he tried, it didn’t work.
