hey so funny thing I've noticed in pawned by 14:00 is noli. And not just noli. But noli seems to have some sort of love hate relationship with being worshipped. Like he's cocky and all, i mean hell, he even makes a joke about the shop not being the tempest, but do you think that's what he actually wants? I find it odd that someone who could be leading a cult and being worshipped is running a shop? Not to mention there's one particular line in shopkeepers advice that caught my ear
"I've seen enough of people manipulated into following someone, whether intentional or not."
maybe he doesn't have good memories of the void cult. Maybe he doesn't like being put on a pedestal, or on a stage, set to perform for watching hungry eyes. (He does complain about the father being too theatrical for him, which is ironic. But also makes sense as his theatrics come off as a more joking playfulness and not a "kill yourself for me son" type thing)
