I have a feeling that watching PBFB will help me process what the hell happened last year and look forward to what could happen this year.

15.1.19 Fanart/unofficial promo art for Past Bing Future Bing, a vlog series by Christopher Bingham. The month long series started last Thursday! Some extra info on the drawing under the cut.

Easter eggs: 

“cabbage”: “What I Would Do With Time Travel”. Also appropriate for the past-future theme.

pink glasses: the twitter photo rivalry thing with Jenny Bingham. I drew him looking into the distance because that’s sort of the look his Youtube banner photo of him has.

“Why is there the old Slomozovo logo?”

The original PBFB was made when the channel was called Slomozovo. The logo was also kind of iconic at the end of each episode. It’s semi-transparent because it’s part of the past. It reinforces the past-future theme a little bit. I was initially gonna include the new logo but I didn’t have enough time to in one day. 

The pixel font is unintentially the Minecraft font hehe

There is no reason behind the swirly effect, nor the clothes “blending” with the background.

This was made in 3 hours, with various photo references. But most important of all - I threw my art style out the window while making this! I’m starting to worry about not having a specific art style to myself. Anyway.

I imitated the same head style as @alicenpai, albeit less detailed, because I had a piece of hers saved in my Insp folder and thought it was the right style for this kind of drawing. I find her art style quite pretty.

my impulse control is so good i just started writing a whole book instead of working on something actually useful

but am i stopping? nope

i just had the great idea to write a story about 2 best friends (gay male and bisexual female) who have been living together for 10 years and decide that they're not really gonna settle down with anyone, they're both afraid of commitment and don't really wanna get tied down so they decide to adopt a baby together!!! and oh boy is it pure and lovely! and i want every chapter to be a new episode in their lives with the baby as they grow up and learn many beautiful things but also fight all the moms and teachers who annoy the little child about what they can or not do and I'm calling it "plan B for baby"
