Archiving the Keep

As some of you may have noticed, the Plumb Bob Keep site has been down for several days. At this time, we do not know anything about the future of the site; we have no contact with Sunni's family, who pay for it. Since the future of the site is uncertain, we are calling for all hands on deck to help us try to archive as much of the downloads as possible: images, text, links and actual download zips. We will primarily be using the Wayback Machine, but as Google searching was only turned on in the last year, many things will not be accessible. Fire_flower has created a spreadsheet to help organize the effort and allow us to see where the gaps are. This will be step one of the process, before we dive into our personal collections.

If you would like to help out, please add your name to the spreadsheet linked below. Large sections might need 2 or more people to team up. Is anything known to be up with Plumb Bob Keep at the moment? I'm wanting to donate to their annual fundraiser, but my browser (Google Chrome) says the site can't provide a secure connection when I click on a link, and it has also logged me out of my PBK account. I can't log back in, because I still get this error page when I go back and try to click the Login button.

Sorry if this is an inappropriate way to ask, but I am a little worried that something might be up with the site. Has anyone else had this issue?

So, about the PBK

Lemme just say, before I'm heading to bed: None of the people involved in the moderation of the Keep in any shape or form are even remotely planning to give up just like that.

A lot of things are still uncertain, but just know: we want to keep going. We're not sure what the future is going to bring, but rest assured, we are thinking about what our plans are. We historical simmers are not going down easily.

Just keep in mind that we all got our own personal lives and stuff going on. So keep calm, have patience, and help us check off the sections in the spreadsheet. If you have good backups, particularly of full sections, let us know.
