Great work...
My boyfriend encouraged me to post my art on here, so maybe I’ll post some oldies on here in the next weeks.
New Beginnings (Sort Of...?)
Hello, all. I've sorted out the blog best I can for now and am going to get to regular tumblr activities now.
As a lot of you may know, Twitter was seemingly on the verge of destruction and I took the opportunity to come back to my old stomping grounds here on tumblr.
Back on Twitter I was running an art-centered account that was very RT heavy, with some personal posts throw out here and there. Expect about the same here.
I'm currently trying to follow all the artists I followed over there, and hopefully I can get to everyone soon.
Thanks for dropping by.
“Okay, so I do his makeup a lot...Nothing much! Just when he’s volunteered to deal with the kids all night so I can sleep...”
My voice sounds awful today...
Summer break.
One one hand, Bom dreaded those words. On the other, it meant what would hopefully be quality time with her children. She adored her little brats, even if they each had their own quirks. Like Sheng leaving his legos all over the place, and Minnah and Minhee played with her makeup while Dongmin absolutely needed his videos. As much as Bom hated it, she had to get the kid his own tablet which he toted around.
Even now as he made his way around the playground, his tablet was in the cross-body bag that he constantly wore to keep it safe. Bom had her eye on him, sitting on a bench in the shade. She was watching all four of them carefully. There was almost never any incidents when they went out to play, but she was still a mother. They were still her babies, no matter how big they were getting. No matter how much expensive lipstick and blush the girls went through. No matter how many legos she stepped on in the middle of the night. They were her babies.
Finally talking herself into not staring after them, she grabbed a magazine from her bag and finally began reading an article that was easily two weeks old. Almost a tragedy for the fashion world, but Bom didn’t devote herself to these things anymore. They were something to read when her time wasn’t with her husband or children.
Easily, Bom stood out among the other mothers at the park, dressed in a knee-length dress that displayed her naturally, well-kept figure nicely and a pair of black louboutins on her feet. Certainly not the outfit most would wear to a park, where there was sand and mud, but Bom had learned how to run in them a long time ago. Sand and mud was nothing.
“Oh you’ve got to be kidding me...Really?” She laughed at the article, trying to tell people what the next trend was going to be that was just beyond ridiculous. Especially for the crowd that the magazine was clearly aimed at.

Bom had never forgotten her husband’s past, what he told her of it anyways. It always lingered in the back of her mind, especially the nights when he had nightmares over it. He was different now, though. He had left that behind, and he had even changed his profession entirely. Dongwook was an entirely different man now. It never occurred to her that his past would catch up to them. How could it? His identity had been hidden, hadn’t it? No one knew who he was, or if he was even alive anymore. No one knew anything about him.
Right?
Worry never crossed Bom’s mind, because he never mentioned it. He never told her to be worried, or concerned or to watch her back. It was why she went about her days so carefree.
Today was a day out for Bom, though hardly a treat. She had errands to run, and was carrying bags of groceries towards her car before making her way to the dry cleaners. A boring routine that Bom loved. The little things made her feel important, because it was doing things for the people she loved more than life itself. It was keeping her household together, even though it was nowhere near cracking.
Dumping the bags in the trunk, she locked the car again before making her way back towards the strip mall, this time her eyes were set on the coffee shop. Coffee was something she rarely ever drank, but it was something she found herself craving today.
gurokurokyara liked your post:Like this for a starter from Bom.
A day off. That’s what Bom considered it when she was able to get someone else to watch the four hellions her and her husband called children. Of course she adored them, but she was really tired of her lipstick becoming fingerpaints for Minhee.
Without too much thought in the moment, Bom stretched her legs out in front of her and well past the small table she was seated at, leaning back against her chair. “...Such a good dessert. Such good food,” she mumbled with a huge grin.
