Deadlock is so tuff but I uninstalled it because all my friends got off it and now my PC has only gotten worse and probably couldn't run it anyone :(

I am so glad I have always permanently disabled updates on every PC I've ever had and have no intention on upgrading when Windows 10 support ends.

My computer has died, I haven’t even had it a year and the company that I got the pc from are wanting to ignore what the term “warranty” means. Not only do I use this computer for writing literally anything, but I use it for a lot of my work as well. I’m trying to sort this out as we speak, but if you’d like to help donate toward the purchase of a new pc or at least a laptop to get some kind of work done, since it doesn’t look like this company is going to be much help, my Ko-fi is located in my bio, as well as in my pinned post. Honestly it’s just been one headache after another. 2022 is really turning up to be a great year huh?
Trying to download/find The Sims 4
Haven't touched this acc in 2 years so this is a long shot BUT.
I got a laptop in 2023 for the purpose of playing The Sims with mods and cc. When first downloading it, we went the route of downloading the EA app and then downloading The Sims. However, when downloading EA, it told me that it could give me a virus. I was 13 at the time and let my mom decide we couldn't go that route. So, I pretty much gave up on The Sims and used my laptop for other things. Recently, my Xbox isn't taking discs (a whole other issue but we know why so I'm not worried), and I miss playing The Sims.
I went to download Steam, made an account and everything. But it won't download because of something called "S Mode" that I'm too scared to turn off unless I know for sure I have to. I googled if The Sims 4 is on Microsoft store, that being a part of S Mode--only allows you to download games/apps approved by Microsoft. It said that it is, but I have SEARCHED. I cannot find it. I am genuinely at a loss and have no idea what to do to be able to play it. I posted something in The Sims 4 subreddit, but I don't know if I'll get a response so I'm posting here as well.
Please help me if you can.
allright i have manual control. the Pc has not crashed into the pits of hel again. Hades himself has not seized mine computer. the fans are spinning the GPU is cool. The green shade of death doth not knock at mine door. Nay, we are spared. But how for how long?

Having trouble with my PC I got everything in correctly but my motherboard is indicating that the CPU is having issues. The pins that the CPU lay on aren't bent I have a water cooler for it Idk idk idk I just wanna use this pc that I spent so much money on. The motherboard I have is a MSI KRAIT GAMING Z170A 3X I have a i5 intel processor
Well... It worked for a few hours. I know I should not have tried to finish the cc I have been working on. Well progress lost. Going to try to reinstall windows.
