How to download, install and use fonts
DOWNLOAD
My favorite font pages are Dafont and Losttype. In Losttype you're supposed to pay, but it's just a donation. So write $0 (or whatever) next to amount and the font will download. If you're searching for a font and it's not there, just search in Google "font _______ free" or whatever. You can also check our fonts tag.
INSTALL
Windows:
Click on the Download button, save the zip somewhere on your hard disk, go to the place where it's saved and unzip the file. For the 20th century versions of Windows you must install an unzip tool first. - Windows 7/Vista: Select the font files then Right click > Install. - Under any version of Windows: Move the fonts into this folder: C:\Windows\Fonts or C:\WINNT\Fonts.
Mac
Mac OS X doesn't recognize the PC bitmap fonts (.fon). Files are compressed, maybe you'll need Stuffit Expander. - Mac OS X 10.3 or above: Double-click the font file > "Install font" button at the bottom of the preview. - Any version of Mac OS X: Put the files into /Library/Fonts (for all users), or into /Users/Your_username/Library/Fonts (for you only).

USE
To use fonts in Photoshop just select the Type Tool (Horizontal or Vertical) and change the font at the top of the PS window.
