I get pretty decent ACTUAL serious ideas for fics but they end up dissolving to comedy for like no reason. It's funny but also kinda irritating.
A completely serious one mainly about addiction and relapse (because cough cough i kinda need this comfort right now) and the opening turned into...Macklin not so discreetly signaling he thinks the movie he and Will are watching sucked.
Someone tell me I'm not the only one with this issue.
My brain went from "Will helping Mack coverup an accident where someone died because of Macklin because uhh guilt uhh friends to everything together"
To "guilt and shame is still the topic butttttt misa slips on a spilled dr pepper can that got kicked by Macklin by accident while he was arguing with Will and so Misa broke his wrist and Will has to coverup for Mack"
