arlo didn’t often wear his heart on his sleeve, but with them he didn’t have to. they seemed to know every thought he’d ever had, every feeling he held close to his chest. and maybe that was why it was so hard to walk away, even after all these years, even after all the many times they’d both agreed it wouldn’t work. he shrugs the too-big sleeves of his hoodie up over his bony frame, shifting in place as he waits. it’s only been a few seconds since he rang their doorbell. he just hopes they answer.

who spends hours putting up lights only to get tangled in them and storm off? finn  &  we love that for him.

who accidentally eats a whole box of christmas chocolates in one sitting? rory, woman has no self control.

who insists on watching the cheesey hallmark christmas movies? rory hehe dragging him by the hand to the living room so they can cuddle  &  watch.

who insists on playing nothing but michael buble in the few days running up to christmas? i feel like neither  ?  rory plays a variety of xmas songs on loop tho bet.

who gets their presents wrapped at the mall so the other cant go snooping? finn because rory would probably want to hand wrap all of them herself.

who insists on making snow angels? rory. rose. like mother like daughter.

who put christmas outfits on all the pets? rory, she can’t exclude them.

do they go to family’s or have a quiet day in? well we know they don’t go to family’s lol…. maybe a gathering with friends or a quiet day in.

who insists on wearing matching ugly christmas jumpers? rory, finn would take some convincing i’ll tell you that.

who waits up until midnight to give the other their present? both of them, they cute hehe.

who insists on hand-made presents only one year? rory, probably the first or second year they do gift exchange because she’d be too embarrassed that she can’t afford as nice of a present as she’d want to buy for him :/

who puts mistletoe on every door frame? finn, after rory’s done decorating so she has no idea.

who gets too drunk at the work christmas party and has to be picked up at 9:15pm? folds hands. rory. you absolute mess, what would you do without finn  ?

who gets angry and almost tells kids that santa isnt real? finn. then one death glare from rory  &  his mouth immediately shuts again.
