yknow wait there’s actually something so fucking real about the injustice that even when they’re out of parkour prison, ex prisoners can’t “rank up” in this society unless they do extraneous and usually excruciating/tedious tasks during their sentence. so it’s basically a choice of living in poverty or in captivity which is essentially just 2 forms of imprisonment but slightly different. am i reading too far into this

Summary: When Marinette turns 21 and is finally of age to pick up her soulmate journal, she expects to immediately be put in contact with a certain blond crush of hers like she's always dreamed of. However, when she opens up the journal to find it already half filled with entries from a soulmate who had long given up on ever getting a reply, she wonders what cruel joke the universe must be playing on her. When Gabriel hears the tell-tale sound of pencil against paper coming from a long forgotten leather-bound journal, he nearly thinks he's imagining things. After all, he'd long given up on believing in the soulmate system and had moved on to find love elsewhere. However, he finds himself presented with an opportunity he can't pass up: a chance to get closer to his leading suspect for Ladybug's civilian identity and possibly a new opportunity to get the earrings he so desperately needs to bring back his long-lost wife.All best-laid plans are bound to have complications, though. Actually beginning to harbor feelings for his enemy, however, was not one Gabriel expected.

YAAY YOU’RE FINALLY WATCHING PKCIV

this series is so unserious it’s hilarious

this is so insanely stupid but also so insanely intriguing. what am i watching. this is like youtube shorts if it could be stretched thin into a 2 hour movie. yet the acting is rather calm and the editing has so many vine booms but isn’t entirely attacking you with oversaturated colors and rapid cuts which creates this like. uncanny valley between brainrot and Actual Plot which absolutely drowns my thoughts out like a baby being handed an ipad but it also has me in deep thought. it’s like an emotional roller coaster with the same energy as sitting and talking with your brother in the middle of the night on the back porch in 2012. it’s so nothingburger but i can’t stop watching it what is this
