cctv shows mysterious man saving shopkeeper

on feb 21, 2019 in adana, türkiye, around 21:30, serdar binici was gathering items from the front of his store, getting ready to close, when a mysterious man suddenly tapped his shoulder and said “look behind you” at the exact right moment, pulling him back jst in time and saving him from what could’ve been a fatal accident. completely taken aback in shock, serdar could not see the man anywhere aroundddd. a moment many have since called a “guardian angel” or hızır…

according to multiple turkish news sources, when serdar quickly turned, he noticed the rear metal door of a passing white truck (which i had assumed was jst a road gate) swinging toward him w full force! luckily, he dodged it jst in time. had the unidentified man not alerted him, serdar believes he would not be alive today. the truck’s tailgate even hit the wall of a nearby house after passing the shop o.O the driver later returned to the store to apologise to serdar, but the mysterious man had long vanished and was never seen again… serdar wanted to thank him for saving his life. still in shock, after reviewing the security footage, serdar could not identify who it was. i mean, even i can’t make out a single facial feature of this mysterious man, though he was only an arm’s length from serdar, and it’s not like he was walking fast either. meanwhile, you can clearly see at least serdar’s nose and eyebrows. very intriguing

★ okkk! pause ;) so who’s hızır, you ask? hızır (aka al‑khidr) is a legendary figure in turkish folklore, sufism, and islamic tradition. he’s known for hidden wisdom, divine mercy, and showing up exactly when someone needs help. folklore calls him a mysterious protector; sufism sees him as a guide and symbol of spiritual insight. he’s also connected to hıdırellez, the spring festival celebrating renewal, life, and blessings. in islamic texts, hızır is a sacred figure gifted by God w knowledge beyond ordinary human understanding. hızır intervenes invisibly, helping ppl, esp in difficult situations. anyway, that’s the gist. i rec personal research if you wanna dive in :)
