Trey sat on his bed, hand to his chin in thought. He’s been there for at least twenty, no, thirty minutes now completely lost in thought; his minds buzzing with ideas and possibilities. He knew better than to hesitate, he really did, but he felt doubt creeping in.
Nix was someone who, quickly, became important to him – a blush came to his cheeks at that thought – and he wanted to do this right.
He had asked Cater for advice about asking him out, but all he got was a laugh from his closest and dearest person that he’d know what to do when the time came. And yet, here he was; pondering and pondering away.
Trey faced the window, it being open to let in the autumn breeze, as he thought.
❛Maybe I can bake him something. . .❜ Was a thought that went through his mind, but that was his go-to solution for everything he didn’t know the answer too. Baking always brought on answers, he found, and he let out a sigh from his lips.
❝Com’on, Clover, you’re better at baking than you are feelings anyway.❞ He muttered to himself, pushing up his glasses and sighing yet again.
