After catching up with Peter and filling each other in on what they had been missing, the memories that had been lost since his return to New York came flooding back to him. He had been avoiding the friends closest to him in hopes of regaining his memories without help, when in reality, Peter was his missing piece to it all. That shouldn’t have come as a surprise to him, considering they were nearly inseparable from the beginning of their friendship. More surprising were the memories that he gained; his best friend in a Spider-Man suit, the suit, standing there in front of his father and leaving him for dead. The nasty right hook that sent him into a bookshelf and had him waking up in a hospital. That’s what prompted him to find an excuse to leave so abruptly and visit the secret hideout in his father’s house, rummaging through old experiments until he found what he was looking for: the goblin serum. After using just enough to get the full effect, Harry was inviting Peter to meet him at one of their old hangouts they would frequent for a surprise.
While he waited on the rooftop, Harry was zooming around on the goblin glider, like he had been when he was deep in thought. It wasn’t any more difficult than a skateboard had been, and honestly, it was fun. Unlike the other times, though, he was fully dressed in the redesigned suit, complete with a new mask that could be on or off with the push of a button. Hearing his best friend approach the rooftop, he smirked to himself. “Remember this, Peter?” he asked, his tone lower than usual. Glowing green eyes flickered to meet the other males. “You didn’t come see me since I’ve been back. You thought I remembered, didn’t you? Honestly, I didn’t. You did a number on me in our apartment and I couldn’t remember a lot, actually, but now... I’ve got it. You put the pieces back together for me. Unlike my father, I can design a suit that doesn’t puncture so easily.” With a quick click, his face was being covered by the mask in one fluid movement. “You knew this was coming, Spidey.”
